Kavita

Reads manga, manhwa, manhua, comics and books. Anthology connects with your Kavita username and password once and keeps an Auth Key named “Shelf”.

Import from your servers

Adds every show, movie and series in the libraries you tick, already linked, with progress from what you've watched and read. Progress only moves forward, and titles you remove stay removed.

Audio & Subtitles

Which tracks a video starts with. What you pick in the player is remembered for that show and comes first.

Subtitle style

For plain subtitles. Styled (burned-in) ones keep their own look.

Metadata keys

Games

Games come from the folder set as SHELF_ROMS on the Anthology server, a folder per console. Covers and details come from IGDB with a Twitch app's client ID and secret (dev.twitch.tv/console). The keys stay on the server.

Servers

Where this computer finds Jellyfin and Kavita. Changes apply the next time someone signs in.

With a library server, your library is the same on every computer and in the web version. It is still kept on this computer too, so Anthology works when the server can't be reached.

Add a person

Creates their Jellyfin account and a Kavita account with the same name and password. They sign in to Anthology with it on any computer.
